Find the Right Stretch or Exercise for Your Body

This week, we at DeCarlo Family Chiropractic are excited to introduce a new feature to our website! After a long process of planning, designing, and testing, both new patients and long time friends of our practice can use our exclusive website application – an interactive diagram for finding the right stretch for where you are feeling discomfort.

The application works on both your desktop and mobile device, and you won’t have to download anything. You only need to click the button here to get started:

The diagram is pretty simple. You can hover over or tap on a part of the body to highlight the area. Then, simply click on it to go to a list of exercises for that body part. On mobile, double tap the icon to get to the exercises page. There are exercises for each body part, all narrated by Dr. DeCarlo.

The main categories are as follows:

Jaw

Neck / Cervical Spine

Shoulder

Forearm / Elbow

Wrist

Upper Back / Thoracic Spine

We have identified these areas as being some of the more problematic and more common areas where patients need to stretch. Developing a routine for stretching troublesome areas, coupled with regular visits to a chiropractor, can help alleviate and prevent chronic pain and other related ailments.
